 This is the NEW Official Website for Marilla Civil War Days.  We will use this site solely for Marilla Civil War Days to keep you current and up to date on the upcoming event in June 2012.  Please check our Breaking News column for the latest info pertaining to Marilla Civil War Days.  We have also  just added a weather bug forecaster below to keep you current with the changing weather patterns affecting the Marilla Event. Hopefully this site will be a little easier to use.  You will be able to download a registration flyer, or apply online.  See the navigation links to the left.  See photos from last years event.  If you are planning to attend the Marilla Event go to the Web Poll page to answer a few questions, this will help us plan the event.

BREAKING NEWS

Online Registration Issues resolved. (4-18-12)

We have been having issues with the forms on this site not working properly.  Recently we changed our form handler and the problem seem to be resolved.  The information you submit is getting emailed to us now.  When you use the form you will get redirected to the www.94nyh.com home page after you click the submit button on the form.  We are still having issues with that part.  The main thing is your information is getting transmitted us.  Please if you are intending to participate in the Marilla Event and do not want to use the online form please email us with your address and we will send you a paper form.

Saturday Meal announced for reenactors (3-27-12)

A traditional meal of the time will be served to all pre-registered reenactors.  The menu is yet to be announced.  As in years past the meal was the highlight of the event, everyone has had plenty of sustenance to carry them through the night.  As you all know Saturday nights are wild with the period dance and night skirmish.  This one is going to be a BLAST !!  I can't wait.

Miss Theresa Sutlery is confirmed for Sutlers Row (3-22-12)

Miss Theresa is based out of Batavia New York.  She has a very nice variety of period clothing and other items used by civil war reenactors.  If you are interested in her specific items you can email her at THERESA25@ROCHESTER.RR.COM to find out what she has available.

Special Scenario is planned for Saturday Evening involving friction primed Artillery  (3-11-2012)

If your unit has a friction primed artillery piece. We Want You!  Marilla Civil War Days is now offering cash bounties and powder to pull off this special artillery scenario.  Act now, we only have several bounties available, once we reach our requirement the offer will end.  Email us for more details and to reserve your spot now.  You will not want to miss this event.  Act Now.

Just announced, a Pancake breakfast to be served on Sunday Morning.  (3-10-2012)

Reenactors will be treated to a pancake breakfast on Sunday morning from 7:00am to 9:00am.  This will be included with your pre-registration for the event.  Breakfast will be served at the Red Wagon Saloon down Sutlers row.

We have an updated list of tentatively attending units to Marilla Civil War Days.  (2-25-2012)

Our verbal confirmations include, 42nd Virginia, 4th South Carolina (Bryon Fisher), 9th Dismounted N.Y. Cav., 28th New York, 1st Tennessee, and the US Engineers.  We are very excited to see these additional units deciding to attend Marilla in June.  We are looking forward to one of best turnouts to date.  We appreciate all the support from the participating units.  If you would like to be a part of the event this send us an email to get more information.
