Welcome to the Eastern Reenactors Association

  • We are a coalition of reenactors banded together for the cause of sharing history with the public through civil war events,  living history and education days. Our units include Infantry, Artillery, Sutlers and Civilians. We are always looking for fresh fish to join our association.
  • We are based in New York State and currently cover the Eastern U.S. Coast.  Our main purpose is to bring new people into the hobby by locating them with regional ERA units in their area.
  • We also offer a group liability insurance which is increasingly required at events to protect ourselves against lawsuits caused by that rare accident that may occur. This policy is fully backed by the NRA. This is covered by modest  yearly dues, which is minimal, compared to amount of coverage you receive.  As we increase our membership numbers the yearly dues will actually decrease as we try to make it fair for everybody.

E.R.A. Newswire

Your Yearly dues are due.

The yearly insurance policy is now due.  Please see Cindy Malchow to pay your $15.00 yearly ERA Dues.

Your Dues are due by mid July and must be paid if you want to continue your insurance coverage for the upcoming reenacting season.

The 52nd North Carolina has been invited to do an Encampment and Living History at the American Civil War Wax Museum in Gettysburg in 2011. The date originally was July 9th and 10th, but has been changed to July 16th and 17th. This is a MAX Effort for the 52nd. Any members unable to attend please RSVP by e-mail. Any other ERA members wishing to join us at this event are more then welcomed and encouraged. Please also let me know. This should be a fun time.

Sincerely,
Gen. Mike Krawczyk
Commanding

The Artillery Coalition adds another unit to their battery of guns. Brandon Adkins a newly certified gun commander will head up the newly formed Halsey' Battery, South Carolina Artillery.  We wish Brandon luck with his new assignment. In other news two more recruits have joined the ranks of the US Signal Corps. To see more of the units that have joined the E.R.A. check out the Eastern Reenactors Association Units page. There you will find a complete list of units.
